The Montebello Bus Lines is applying for a competitive micro-grant that is being offered through the California Clean Air Coalition in recognition of California Clean Air Day on October 6, 2021. The purpose of the grant is to raise awareness of air quality issues through local activities, events, or projects that help clean our air. One of the activities is partnering with the Montebello Unified School District to host a poetry contest. Students in grades TK-12 will be able to submit a 150 word poem to raise awareness on Clean Air. Each grade span (elementary, intermediate, and high school) will have a winner and the grand prize will be a bicycle. This contest is open to all MUSD students.
